X Security (XSec) Lab
XSec Lab, affiliated with the Cyber Security Research and Education Institute at UT Dallas, conducts basic and applied research on AI x Security. We aim to develop novel machine/deep learning approaches to solve real-world software and systems security problems. Our ongoing projects focus on AI-enhanced software vulnerability analysis and patch management. We also explore AI security challenges, identifying potential attacks and proposing defense techniques for current AI-based security models.
XSec Lab is continuously looking for self-motivated PhD students with full financial support. Experience on deep learning/LLM and/or software/systems security is preferred. If you are interested, please send your CV and transcripts to xinda dot wang at utdallas dot edu.
